Swimming is a great way for me to wind down from my day and is a healthy way for me to relieve stress. When I swim, my mind goes practically blank and helps me not to overthink things going on in my life at the time. It was the best feeling being able to give back to the sport and help other children that reminded me of myself when I first started out. I loved being able to see kids enjoy the sport that I fell in love with years ago. It made me take a step back and realize that I could use my experiences to help other people and share my love for the sport with others at the same time.
